8th PSH Hypertension (HTN) Boot Camp

Relative to the mission of the PSH to prevent and control hypertension and its complications, PSH had launched the 8th HTN BOOT CAMP November 9 - 10, 2024 at Fili Hotel Nustar Resort, Kawit Island, Cebu City. Initially, it was held for internal medicine residents-in-training. The HTN Boot Camp is a ten-hour weekend workshop delivered in two half days, that features the most relevant issues in hypertension management. After the half day of didactic fora on the first day, case-based dive-in workshops follow on the second day.

The PSH 8th HTN Boot Camp was chaired by Dr. Gilbert C. Vilela. The members of the faculty were – Dr. Raymond V. Oliva, Dr. Marlon T. Co, Dr. Carlos L. Chua, Dr. Erick S. Mendoza, Dr. Lynn A. Gomez, Dr. Benjamin A. Balmores Jr., Dr. Leilani Mercado-Asis, and Dr. Marjorie I. Santos. The said PSH activity is with the support of an unrestricted grant from Corbridge Philippines.
